Hi all, ive had a 2013 a250 for 3 weeks its been great. Although i have just really opened it up for the first time and had the fright of my life, i flawed the acceleraror to about 50mph and then breaked back down to about 10mph quite quickly but then the car started trying to accelerate off again even with me stamping on the break, and it did it about 3 times before it returned back to normal. Thank god i didnt have to stop completely and it was an open road. Has anyone experienced this ever before?

Next time, if this happens again, things you can do if you need to stop:

Put the gearbox into Neutral or N
Switch off the Ignition
Kick the accelerator a few times incase its dirt or a trapped mat to see if that releases it

Thanks for the advice, took it to a quiet a road earlier, full throttle to about 60 and then hard breaking, its like the gear box gets confused and started overly revving and tried to jolt forwards again albeit not as bad as last time. Its my first auto so not sure of i should expect this but certainly doesnt feel that safe, especially if it was an emergency stop. Thanks for the advice.

Try a gearbox reset.
I know it says A45, but try it anyway.
