I posted on it before. What I would say is get the car booked in early in the week and during the day as the diff oil drainage takes around 3 hours. So with mine it was in on a Friday afternoon, and while the garage must have known how long it took they had not accounted for the time. So I was sent home with a SLC courtesy car for the weekend.

My car had only done around 14K miles I recollect at the time of the 3rd service but had both the gearbox and diff oil changed and the diff oil for the second time too. But being on the service plan there was no pain. I have the 4 year plan, the last service is in October this year, so I hope MB bring out the new A45 earlier rather than later in 2018 so that if its any good I can change to it before a service comes up outside the service plan.
