Just checked the maintenance schedule for the auto gearbox all A's not just the A45

Every 31000 miles or 3 years oil replaced and filter, so it looks like it has it's own gearbox oil filter.


so thank goodness mine has just fallen into my 3rd free service,
amazed at the price quoted above though £467,
so what does that entail why is it such a big / high cost job ?

Tha's interesting..... mine is 3.5 years old, 30k miles and they didnt service the DCT on its 3rd service in February?

Brake fluid change every 2 years is a joke.... I have a classic car and the gearbox oil has only been changed once in 40 years and brake fluid twice! and only then because I rebuild the brake calpiers & changed the brake hoses as a precaution.
