Child Seats that actually fit in the back of an A180 SE

I'm struggling to find a child seat that will fit in the rear seats of my new A180. Due to the moulded seats all the child seats I find end up covering up the female end of the buckle. Coupled with the fact these buckles are recessed into the seats it's very hard to find a seat that fits. I don't really want to buy a bunch of them online to try out and have to return, because that will be expensive and a PITA, quite frankly. And in the current climate it's hard to find stores that'll let you try them out.

Literally the only one I've tried out that fits the seat is the ÂŁ20 'Halfords Essentials' one, which is pretty horrific from a comfort perspective (just plastic with a very thin bit of material) so I'd love to hear what seats people who actually own this car have fitted. I assume it's not such a weird rare car that nobody who owns one has a 6-year old child!

I haven't tried Isofix seats yet, so I guess that could be an option, but that might also be worse as you won't be able to adjust the fit to get to the buckle.
Isofix seats of all types work fine. I wouldn't go with a seatbelt seat. The isofix is hugely more sturdy and easy to fit and remove.

No we haven't used a booster yet.

Only other suggestion is will the seat belt work if you put it in the next buckle or is that not possible as the middle seat is occupied. As you mentioned and ask MB on Mobilo Life if that would be okay. Or if they can suggest any other options 00800 1777 7777.

I too have no problem at all getting two seats in the back. You might need to move the front seats slightly forward, depending on how far back you usually have them, but that’s it.
