Hi guys my CLA 45s has 4000 miles on it and what happened was I was exiting a car wash after getting my car cleaned then put 80ish% throttle down on race mode and it accelerated for a split second until the traction light symbol came on then cut power out? I have pushed my car very hard and have never seen the Traction control come on? The car has good tread. MP4 super sports from factory. Road wasn't the smoothest tbh. Very surprised it lost traction. Could this be my tyres were wet from the wash/ any wheel sensor got wet and got confused? Tried stand still pulls after and it seemed to have no issue and works like normal. Anyone got a clue? or just a one off ?

wet slippery floor by sounds of it. tyres can only grip so much even with 4 wheel drive. reach their grip level for the road conditions and they will slip and cause traction control to kick in.

Exactly and it takes a short while even in the current summer temperatures for the tyres to warm up and produce full grip.
