Ok so the all to infamous code P1028 has appeared along with the check engine lamp. Terrible fuel consumption, acceleration lag / loss of prower and sometimes a pungent petrol smell in idle.
Ran a scan and checked the 02 mode and got these results for the O2 sensors. Bank 2 is showing rich to lean however I’m not getting any DTC code for it. My ? is would it be useful to replace the sensor or simply wait until my Indy mechanic can fit me in (early next week) I’ve told him about the P1028 code however it was only today that I decided to check the o2 sensors.

I think I posted this in the wrong forum, and have resolved to replacing the thermostat and sensor first, just got to figure out how to get the manifold off. I’m a keen diyer, just not terribly confident.
