Having just bought an ex-demo I have just realised there is no service book. I understand it is all done digitally, but how can I access it.

Thanks

As other hace said there is no paper service book, not only that there is no printed service schedule either so you have no ideawhat will be done at the service (except very little at great cost!) or what optional extras they might throw at you during the service. However, you can get the latter from service reception, I got them to email it to me.

With the increasing reliance on records being digital I took a look at my service history for the car on "My Mercedes me account"
I had just had the B service done and the list of things they did was utter garbage, it was no relation to the work actually done.
It claimed the brake pads were changed and numerous other bits and pieces sorted, the best one being that the Ad-blue had been re-filled which is odd
as I run a petrol driven A200.

Has anyone else noticed this one their record.

I'm really getting fed up with this now.

A while back I was able to see previous service sheets for my car on the Mercedes portal - for which I had a bookmark set in my browser.

I booked a service at my local dealer a while back and all of a sudden the previous service list disappeared and the browser link no longer worked.

All I see on the portal now is the last service "A" performed a few weeks ago, not showing the "B" service from last year.

Mercedes me seem to not understand what I am asking them and are telling me I have a filter in place! The services are not showing any longer, that's all I know.

Has anybody else had this? My local dealer can see past services and says I should be able to but he cannot fix it for me.

If I decide to sell the car, how does the prospective new owner get to see the service history?

Thank you - I have the printouts from both services but in this day and age of technology I think people expect the online version first and foremost.

I had another contact from Mercedes me this morning asking for another screenshot showing the filter off. They seem to struggle comprehending my initial request and give me answers to questions I haven't asked!

I know some folk may struggle with technology at base level, but I don't (my background is IT). I just wish Mercedes would take account of that fact when dealing with my request. Do they think I hadn't tried that????

The access you have to your digital service sheet is what I used to have - and have had on all of my previous Mercedes cars.

Thank you for your input, greatly appreciated.

Thanks V8 I've logged in although it wouldn't accept my email, say's it's not verified, but phone number and password got me in. Nowhere could I access my service record but it did tell me what the capped service costs are. Seems the $800
I paid for a first service should have been $600 . I think I'll have to visit MB as the Sat Nav is disappearing now and then and the phone app won't connect to the car now. All this my be linked to the 081 auto download I had last week.

Following this with interest as the Me Portal is not showing the service from Dec 2020 nor the service plan I have but is showing the service centre I took it to. It is telling me that Service A is due soon, which as the car will be 2 years old and had a service last year I would have thought it would be Service B that is needed?

Sounds like the service centre has not updated the Portal.

One question - does the Portal also show any warranty work that has been undertaken?

Thanks

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me... My Mercedes A200d is being collected on Monday morning, first thing as I've sold it late afternoon today.
Unfortunately, I've lost the paperwork for one of the services (B service), and the dealer buying the car wants proof of the servicing.

I'm going to head to Mercedes tomorrow to see if they can help, but I believe the sales team do not have access to the service history, and only the servicing department can print history for me?

I've read on the forums that there are some people here with access to the online database to get proof of servicing? Is there anyone that can help me out and send me a copy so I can print the service history?

More than happy to PayPal over a pint or two for helping! I would usually wait until Monday and just head to the dealer, but unfortunately, that won't be possible in this situation :(

Thanks for any help in advance!

You should be able to see and download the service report yourself, using your Mercedes Me login, to the Web Portal.
Thanks, unfortunately, I hadn't registered for Mercedes Me, I've registered this evening, however, Mercedes need to approve my vehicle, it says to take the logbook + ID to a dealer who can approve it, which I plan to do tomorrow as well.

I just worry as it's a Sunday tomorrow, they may not be able to help, but my fingers are crossed!

If you go into your account details on MMe unfortunately it says we have to contact the dealer.

Okay I found it. Its once you see the picture of your car and click on it then service comes up and it's possible to even download a pdf. 👌

Hi, I am having some similar issues to earlier posts.
Web portal says A Sevice is due and the car says B Service is due.
I purchased the car a year ago as a year old car from a main dealer. I contacted them for help. The A service was done prior to my purchase and they have emailed me the pdf.
It would appear that the car and the portal aren't communicating.
Also strange on the portal is I have my personal settings in miles psi etc but they are actually reading in metric.
