Hi all, Pre fl A45 with 53k.

As title says I have this squeaking noise from my engine bay (right side). It’s at its loudest when cold and speeds up with higher rpm, quietens down as the car starts to get warm but can still hear it slightly. If I drop a gear and cruise at 3/4K rpm I can hear it quite easily with the window down (when engine is warm).

My local garage seems to think it’s my injectors but I have doubts about that as just doesn’t seem right. Noticed my oil is to the max mark on dipstick and seen about people saying the oil is putting pressure on the crank seal and pushing on the pulley. But people stated this was when the engine is hot but as mine occurs when cold also I was unsure.

If you guys have any advice that would be great.

Cheers.
