PLEASE HELP

I have a 2013 Mercedes A Class ECO 1.8 Engine CDI Eco.

Had the car 7 months and i am the second owner.

About 2 weeks ago i started the car and from out of the blue the Check Engine light came on aswell as the ESP light which came up with a warning message 'ESP inoperative please check owners manual'. I turned the engine off and re started and both lights had disapeared, the next day both lights re appeared and ive had the problem ever since.

If i turn the engine off and back on again the ESP light will not be there but will 100% re appear at some point during my next drive. Check Engine light is showing 90% of the time. Car drives normal when Check Engine light appears but when ESP inoperative light comes on the car goes almost into limp mode and will not accelerate away after changing gears.

Have taken the car to a indi merc specalist who advised it is due to a faulty accelerator pedal or a faulty oil sensor, both have been replaced but the light still show and nothing has changed. The indi then told me to go to Merc directly and even said i may need a new ECU !!! £££££.

i have been in touch with a diff mercedes specalist and they advised that often something that clears this problem is to remove the ECU all together clen the pipes and reset the software, anyone heard of this?

Anyone had similar problems or know what could be causing this? I have already spend a couple of hundread £ on the car and i am still yet to actually know what the issue is!

please help ....

My wife has a 2013 A Class W176 and I bought a diagnostic reader but it brings up almost a different error each time it faults, Tuesdays errors are as follows C03A400 The CAN data from Control Module 'Engine' is faulty next error is B1DD015 The output for the mirror heater has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to positive or an open circuit, next error U010000 Communication with the control module 'combustion engine' has a malfunction and the last error is U041586 Unreasonable data were received from control module 'Traction system' there is an incorrect signal. These faults are being read from an Icarsoft Multi Diagnostic tool MB V2.0 which I bought my wife so she didnt get stranded while I am away.
I am not currently home at the moment due to being away with work but the accelerator pedal sensor has been replaced, the wheel sensors all read ok from the live data on the diagnostic tool, steering wheel sensor live data seems consistant when rotating the wheel, last week I did reconnect the door locking switches (driver side door locking buttons) as this was disconnected and it appears this fault is slightly more common, I will be disconnecting this again Thursday when I am home.
Has anyone any information on what else I could check when I am home weekend.

Disassemble the earth brass nut on the LH inner wing, clean thoroughly and refit.

Ive changed the accelerator pedal about 3 weeks ago and no better if anything its actually got worse, Ive seen the ground points and they actually look like ok visually, although Im not sure if under the nut Merc have have stripped the paint away for a good ground connection, the ground point in the engine bay didnt look the best but this is tomorrows (10/06/2021) job to check if they have just been put on top of the paint which could be an issue???
