I would think that the clearance would be the same as it is the same car with the same appearance, just a boot with an electric release.

This is my only criticism of my 180 Sport Exec
On a simple u turn to park that I have done for many years in many different cars I grounded out, fortunately no damage I can see underneath

I now am Uber careful when parking at right angles up to kerbs and high rise car parks, god help me if I ever go on a ferry

I do get a ferry (IOW) a lot! Looks like I'll be back to begging for the lower deck and hoping they believe me when I say how low it is!
104 (4.09 inch). Is the lowest I’ve ever had, even my Scirocco had an inch more
It’s going to bother me a lot, mad I never noticed

Crawled underneath and measured 120mm (4.7”) still very poor, but of course that’s with nobody in it. What’s going to happen with 4 + luggage

IMHO MB have lengthened the W177 and forgotten about what that does to ground clearance

Just checked my BMW 3 series (2016) and it's 6.7 inches at lowest. Frankly its quite a low slung car so I'm going to have to think about the A250 being 2 inches less clearance.

The BMW X2 which is an option for me has a 7.2 inch ground clearance so thats OK.

The measurement 104mm is done under max load 500kg approx, hench the actual of 120mm

The British standard allowed height of a speed bump is between 3 and 4 inches, with most being 3.5” (89mm), so now regret eating my Pizza

Some futher thoughts

The BMW 3 series xdrive rides higher than rear wheel drive equivalents.Would the Mercedes A class 4 wheel drive versions ride higher?

Secondly the Brochure does not give wheel size for each model. Assuming you could change 225/45 R18 tyres into 235/45 R18 tyres you might grab an extra .5 centimetre of height. Not sure how high you could go with this. Also you run into speedo discrepancy on the factory settings.

Later 225/50 r18 would fit and will grab you an extra .4 inch of sidewall - plus 3.5% speedo error!

I’ve hit the ground loads of times in my A180D sport, I wanted the AMG but read about the ground clearance issues so went for the Sport. It’s a bit worrying when you’re doing 60mph down a country lane and you hear and feel the crunch :/ My last car was an SLC with a ground clearance of 4.4 and I never hit the ground in that once

Got an A2204Matic without the AMG package due to fears of it being too low. In 800 kms I haven't scraped once and I'm in Bucharest where the roads aren't the best. It's still quite a low car so I'd recommend anyone drive tests the version they'd buy beforehand.

My A220 4matic Business AMG has taken lots of ground touches during this about month of ownership. But this winter here in Finland is weird, that mount of snow is just something amazing. But have to say that my previous car A4 3.0tdi quattro, even it was S-line has much better ground clearance. If I remember right S-line was -25mm lower than basic one. So this new car is riding quite low...

But... Wouldn’t the ground clearance be better on the AMG with its 18” wheels?
Or is the spoiler lower in contrast?

Well I made it over the humps today, although I did slow right down and put a wheel over each hump on the split ones. This meant having to wait a few times until no oncoming traffic, which I don’t think impressed the 4x4 behind me.
