Hi there really hope someone can help! As I’m confused!
I am looking into the Mercedes A class
A250e AMG line hybrid/electric.
A few questions

1. Do you have to plug this car in to recharge the battery?
2. Or could you use the car just by filling up with petrol and using the petrol side of the car?
3. If the electric side runs out out do I have to charge it to use it?

Only reason being is if it has to be plugged in for the car to be charge would be unable to due this due to home location.

It’s a plug-in hybrid so yes you have to connect to the mains to charge the electric drive battery. You can run just on the petrol engine if the battery is flat but it defeats the point of this car if you have no facility to charge it. Apparently range on electric only is about 40 miles so in theory you could use only electric with a shortish commute.
