Was told that from another supplier i used to get Tyres of before
I had reply but they asked for the precise tyre spec as I only asked if PS4s' were still available. I've now sent a full spec back.

I can see that PS4s' are available but MO1 doesn't come up. But I'm guessing from your comments you don't necessarily want MO1. Anyway I will post their response when I receive it back.

What I don't get is why Michelin would support that recent video on MO versions of their tyre and then stop making them. Unless they have only stopped for MB or A45s'.

@Irish boy

This is the response from Michelin which seems to contradict the search results:

"At the moment all I can see that is not available and we do not know when it will be back in stock, however I cannot see if it was discontinued or not. Please see the exact details below:

DESIGNATION
CAI
245/35 ZR19 (93Y) XL TL

E-mail from Michelin today. So it's a shortage, which is not greatly helpful when you need a new tyre today:

"As agreed, please find below the response from our technical department:

"The following tyre is not available and we do not know when it will be back in stock, however it is still being manufactured. Please see the exact details below:"

Having done the AMG experience yesterday the A45s’ they use and also sell at Brooklands use Continentals, I was told. I think they are the 6 but didn’t get a good chance to confirm. The instructor said there will be a revised version shortly. Not sure if he meant a 7 or a revised 6. I haven’t had a chance to look any of this up online yet.

How many miles did you get out of the set you replaced. I'm on around 10K miles and I think they have quite a lot more life left in them.

Interesting thread…

So the new Pilot 4 S tyres I bought aren’t the same as the OE tyres that came with the car from factory. My car did feel slightly different when I changed my tyres but I thought the new tyres just needed wearing in. I think I switched my front OE tyres to the back and put the new tyres on the front wheels. Do you have to buy these MO tyres from Merc?
