Hi,
I need to change the front pads on my sons A-Class A180D (2016), nice and easy me thinks, done it a million times on all my other cars from fiats, fords to VWs. I can find the jack points no problem, but can I find where the axle stands go, nope, I've been looking at this ALL afternoon and have got absolutely no where. I've you tubed it, I've searched for it on the net and the only thing I found was that there is supposed to be a central jacking point just behind the engine, so you use this to jack the engine up and then you locate the axle stands where the jacking points are at the sides...nope, can't find the central jacking point either!!! The entire underneath at the front of the car has a cover, do I have to take this off first (I hope not, seems a pain!)? Please, would sure appreciate if somebody could shed some light on this very frustrating, but what should be a simple task!!

Most of us use a jack pad in conjunction with a trolley jack and the sill jacking points

For axle stand location info - there's a variety of suggestions:

If you're just doing front pads - I'd jack up on the sill points, and place the stands under one of the lower wishbone joints/bushes.
