Why would we not use the screen rather than the mouse. I suppose it's there if you want it.

mbux infotainment Facebook group gives out useful tips etc..
There are so many MB FB groups. Do you have a link to this please.

I would prefer one on the steering for changing music tracks. So is that the left side touch sensitive button. I will try later. It was useful to use the steering to change tracks on my previous A45 and I agree that would be best for safety.

Because it's an awful long stretch to get to the main screen, unless you have arms like and orangutan ;) AND you have to look away from the road to the main screen to find the < > buttons!
I'm Tarzan :)

it also works on the steering wheel pad too.
I just tried this and it brought up the current and future tracks. When all I wanted is next track. Having a list of all the future tracks is quite distracting. So I just used the screen.

if the album cover is highlighted on main screen a swipe to the right starts next track. A swipe left will restart track, or a couple of swipes will go backwards on the album. You must have album highlighted for steering wheel pad to change track. Its the only method I use. Try again 👍
I like to mix my tracks and it doesn't work seamlessly in that case. I will keep trying but I have gotten used to just using the screen.

Overall there is so much to the MBUX system I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

While we are here can anyone tell me what the Sync switch is meant to do next to the temperature

I use CC all the time at average speed camera roadworks. I just wish the cancel lever was illuminated properly as I tend to find it quicker and easier to brake to cancel it.

MB are behind the curve. I could Bluetooth connect my iphone to the Seat Leon hire car in Spain last week. It made it very convenient as I didn't have an usb c adaptor with me on holiday.

Every time I go from the M11 on to the M25 heading in the Dartford Bridge direction I get the notification "Traffic Incident Ahead", around half a mile after the M11. It's usually a good bet that there is something, given its the M25 but most times there is nothing. Anyone else get something similar on their regular routes.

I always get a "Caution, traffic event ahead", on 2-3 certain positions on the highway, I have never found an issue on the road.
I reckon its to do with heavy traffic then as the M25 is the "car park" for London.

He seems to have branched out. IOS17 now.

I tried the Masonic two finger sign on my wife’s A200. And nothing 🤷‍♂️
