I am not even sure why there is a electric hand brake button?

In an emergency (eg your main brake hydraulics have failed or leaked), push and hold the parking brake switch, it will use the electric motors in the rear wheels to apply the parking brake.

When you are at a level crossing at night, drop the gearbox into N and push the parking brake switch. It will save blinding the people behind with your main brake lights.

I wouldn’t apply the P Park position on anything other than level ground without the parking brake, as you are relying on a pin (pawl) in the gearbox to stop the car moving.

To change track while media is playing - simply swipe (without clicking) left or right in the centre top of the touchpad, it will do next track or previous track.

Why would we not use the screen rather than the mouse. I suppose it's there if you want it.

Because it's an awful long stretch to get to the main screen, unless you have arms like and orangutan AND you have to look away from the road to the main screen to find the < > buttons!

I didn’t know you could start the car with a dead key battery.
