My Valet Protect has turned inactive

Yes I have the valet protect on. Currently front left window open. I was tempted to blink the flashers

 

or close windows and lock it 😂😂

 

I just closed my car left window through MMe. They must have forgotten about it . I'll monitor if the garage reopens it.

 

Assuming they didn't plug it into the upgrade computer with the cable through the window! ✂

 

Just updated to the latest version but can’t see any visible changes

 

So on the Trip Computer part of the App, the MPG has disappeared.... it was there this morning!
The Mercedes Me store is down for maintenance, got the message in German initially.
I think they're still working on it then with two updates (for Android at least) in as many days.

I haven’t been driving much lately but noticed after a trip the other day that my trip computer on very latest android MMe 2020 app is not showing MPG, either. Has yours rectified itself yet?

@steve_3939 I have them all except for "Individual Consumption" That's weird...
Can you tell me what's behind this one? Is it linked to a specific service/model? Because I have all services activated (except for the Vodafone Internet that I refuse to pay, I could tether from my phone in my previous car, I think it was much better but anyway... ) and I can't find it?

 

it looks like this. Consumption specific to the A45s. Took a while for it to show in the UK as not many about. Maybe its only national for the country your in or international. Not sure.

Looks like Mercedes have moved some of the functionality to the app only:

 

Steve so you think it’s for the whole of UK A45s population. This is what it shows today. @Irish boy has obviously cut his mileage.

These are services that can’t be de-activated, i.e they always run, I believe

 

Further down the menu Smartphone integration and AMG Track Pace are also the same.

 

Hmm... I see that some of you have a setting for the sunroof. Mine doesn't show up at all in the app... Any ideas?

Emm... Yes I do have one and I can close it with the keyfob by keeping the lock button pressed. I'll contact them through the app, though that does usually take 1 month to get a response.

 

Another iOS v Android anomaly?

I have it on iOS.

 

It seems odd that just one part of the application is missing for android phones. MB need to update their app more effectively.

I'm on Android. On vehicle status it does read the status of the sliding roof. But it doesn't have the option to control it like it does for the windows.

Have a 70 plate A250e

I've tried searching but don't think there's anything with the issue I'm having.

So I have the app installed on my Samsung and yesterday it just stopped updating. Tried all that everyone seems to suggest logged out, reinstalled app etc etc

When I logged out it stopped showing me anything to remote use car, no charging status, couldn't locate car.

However, my wife who was apple, perfectly fine no issues, could see charge state etc.

I connected my phone to the cars WiFi which has brought back the options, however now it's stuck in telling me the ignition is on and last updated 2 hours ago.

Tried force stopping etc but still no joy. Is this a common issue?

MMe app is always flaky

Prob the best thing to do at this stage is to sit in the car with the ignition on, and press the Me button overhead.

 

Yeah very flakey. Installed the app on my work phone and hey presto all OK.

Presume the me button connects me with their call centre?

Just had to log into the iOS mme app and my session had expired, now it keeps shutting after I put my id in 🤷🏻‍♂️ any ideas. Deleted and reinstalled the app. TIA

 

Looked but not found a more relevant conversation.

The MMe icon on my phone has a slowly incrementing number in red top right. If that happened in mail or WhatsApp I'd know it referred to unread messages, but I can't find any in MMe. What does it refer to?

 

MMe the same has a messaging and notification section. All the time when an over-the-air update is made to your car you will receive a message/notification. On the MMe click on the top right corner and check the messages.
