Hi all,

New to this sub so hello first of all!

I have just purchased a '16 plate 220d Motorsport edition, the alloys have a little scuffing on the outside rim which is the Petronas Green on the motorsport edition.

The damage is not deep and has essentially just taken the colour off - is there anywhere I can obtain the petronas paint to simply go over the affected areas?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I have found this on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192331964228

Awaiting delivery so will update you on whether it is worth a buy!

Just as an update I have received the above and it has a bit of sparkle to it for whatever reason; I'll apply it to another object and see how it compares.

I have seen that they have a slightly darker looking green on their website: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-Oasen-Green-1998-2016-Alloy-Wheel-Rim-Paint-Repair-Kit-Scuffs-/391891080695?hash=item5b3e8755f7

It's not 'Petronas Green' however it actually looks a little closer possibly to the colour we're after - let me know what you think as I may order it to compare.

I saw the one you have ordered but thought it was a bit too light and a bit too turquoise... Despite it being 'Petronas Green' that the Merc is described as.

The two I ordered have arrived, I will be testing tomorrow so will let you know how I get on - from a first test on a piece of cardboard both are very similar, so I think you will get away with either of them and not notice too much difference.
