Few people commenting on stone chips - anyone running mudflaps on their A class and if so do they help ?

I ran flaps on my EVO and it certainly did help the lower body from tyre grit - thinking of trying them

2000 miles - no chips on mine. Mud flaps are horrible - I wouldn't say there is any need unless you intend to be spinning up the wheels a lot!

Mon2s, I have one chip on the front bumper and a "shallow" chip on the passenger door. I have done 800 miles only, not driven madly or very fast, so how have you managed to drive so far without any chips at all? Do you think it is the quality of the roads where we are both driving? Your roads are obviously better!? Lucky you!

Yes, I've had a full set of four OEM mudflaps on my a200CDI since delivery. They are quite neat and compact, and, IMHO, don't detract from the looks of the car at all.
