Hi,

I just noticed after cleaning the car that there are LED lights embedded in the bottom of the wing mirrors.

These dont turn on when I unlock the car or open the door. Is there a control to set that on or off someplace?

My wifes 1 series has the same and displays BMW on the road at night, so I am assuming the A45 should be doing that too.

Any ideas?

Car is june 20, and it has the leds build in to each side. Ill have a look thru the settings again, or will it be in the engineer mode?

Go to MMe, Exterior and interior lights menu and make sure the "surround lighting" is turned on.

That was it. All good now although its just light, no star or AMG display.

Those are aftermarket or option extra

Just got off the phone with my merc dealer. £101.50 to have them direct from Mercedes, free labour costs as they only need to be popped in with no need for adapters apparently. Seems no coding needs to be done? (I have a 19 reg premium amg line)

Glad it worked. You won't notice them for a few months now until the nights start drawing in.
