Hi all, quick question, I've ordered a new A class in the past couple of weeks, at the same time my Dad has ordered a new VW Golf, he is able to track where his car is within the production process on the VW website using his order number, does anyone know if Mercedes offer this facility? Don't think so I was only given 'stages' like ordered, factory, complete, travelling, ARRIVED!!

In short - no.

It's good to know that VW has started to offer this facility though. Hopefully all manufacturers will finally offer this soon. Amazing it is not more widely available in 2013!

I agree ..... especially when you can track your amazon order so easily.

.... although, now that I think about it ....maybe manufacturers are worried about if a carenters the "we've ballsed something up" stage. Fair play to VW. That said I'm sure all manufacturers could think if some apt spinto use as a title for that stage if the worst happened.
