490 hp and 550nm.
Feels strong. smood and no issues whatsoever.
I choose this one because they are a very solid and serious company. And most of all because the NM number was not as high as some of the other tunes by other companies. I could have gotten some more hp and much higher NM elsewhere, but this is for me the perfect reliable numbers for a non problematic tune many years to come.
With higher hp and nm number the boost is severly up, and I ( my personal meaning) do not think thats reliable over time.
Opus is also on the more ekspensive side of the skale, wich I read as a sign of quality. Time and effort spent develloping.
If you are considering them, just go ahed and order. they know their stuff. :)

Akrapovic is going on the car today as well, so will have more updates tomorrow. :)
Hi, any updates regarding the Akrapovic?

the akrapovic is on.
Made it even better. Good sound, without beeing to loud.
cofortable in comfort mode.
ekspensive as f... but i do not regret it.. Looks stunning and sound "real" if you know what i mean. Grown up sound, instead of just squeeling.

Very well said my friend!

I ordered Akrapovic too but unfortunately they sent me the wrong down pipe so I'm eagerly waiting for them to send me the replacement.

I don't think that the title of this thread is accurate anymore. Renntech is actively working on and releasing products for the A45S.

The reason I know this is that I bought the brand new Renntech Exhaust Valve Module today for the A45S W177 from one of their authorised dealers in Australia.

This part is brand new and not yet on the site. It apparently also requires the AMG Real Performance Sound option (i.e. the exhaust button in your car) to work.

Installation is a simple plug and play operation that happens in the boot of the car, with no hard wiring required. It is easily reversible and removable.

Once installed the effect is to permanently increase the exhaust valve position to 100% open from the maximum 70% open that it normally is in Sport Plus at lower revs and lower speeds when Option 1 is selected on the supplied remote. Option 2 will return the car to stock operation.

The selected option is remembered between car starts.

The authorised dealer also said that the Renntech HHT (reversible OBD port-based ECU flash) for the A45S is actively being worked on and is not far away!

I will post some video once I get my car and the module. 😄

Information supplied to me from the authorised dealer here in Australia:

Renntech EVM - Exhaust Valve Module (Remote Controlled)

NOT SO FUN FACT

If your car is equipped with factory exhaust flaps, with or without a center console button to open or close them, factory settings do NOT allow the flaps to fully open unless certain speed and/or RPM have been reached.

For example, while cruising the exhaust flaps will never fully open!

THE EVM SOLUTION:

RENNtech's plug & play EVM Exhaust Valve Module allows you to open the exhaust flaps of your car 100% at all times by pressing Button 1 on the remote control.

If you wish to go back to factory settings simply press Button 2. This gives you complete control over the exhaust sound and rumble of your car at any time regardless of speed, RPM or driving mode!

The RENNtech Exhaust Valve Module is made in Germany.

• Activation completely independent regardless of drive mode

o Override your cars factory exhaust flap setting with the push of a button.

• EVM does not engage with CAN-Bus

o No interference with any control units.

o Software updates do not interfere with the functionality of the EVM exhaust flap module.

• Plug and Play with original plugs

o No cutting wires, no damage to factory cables, fully reversible.

Included:

• 1 X Exhaust Valve Module

• 2 X Remote Controls (Button 1 fully open. Button 2 back to factory)

• Wiring harness (model specific)

• Installation manual

Note:

Before Placing Order, Confirm If Your Car Is Equipped With Factory Exhaust Valves

• The vehicle needs to be equipped with the optional factory performance exhaust with factory exhaust valves

• No special tools or modifications required for installation

• The RENNtech EVM is placed in the trunk, no hard wiring necessary - Plug'n'Play solution.

• For extra convenience the EVM is programmed so once the flaps are fully opened they will stay that way even when the car is turned off and restarted later hence no need to press button 1 over and over every time you start the car. It will ONLY go back to factory setting by pressing button 2.

Installed the Renntech EVM on Friday. Actually got my dashcam installer to do it, as he was already taking off the back interior hatch trim of the car and he mentioned that he had done EVMs before.

Overall very happy with the addition, car seems to make much more noise at idle and at lower revs where the right-hand side exhaust (when viewed from the rear of the car) would have normally been closed or partially open. The device installs as a piggyback at the RHS exhaust and is feed in through a grommet from the hatch to the exhaust area.

The car now has a rumble at idle that really resembles my old 3 litre straight six BMW (M54), circa 2005 before they ruined the sound, and is much more befitting of the car, which I am super happy with.

There's no Canbus splicing or anything like that, just a simple plug and play install with some neat cable ties which I like. The device now sits in the boot of my car next to my dashcam battery under the floor.

The EVM device defaults to 1 - which is open, and remembers this setting between starts, so if you are like me there is really no need for the little remotes that let you toggle between "open" and "stock" operation. My exhaust is now always open :D

Real performance sound (the exhaust button) still works as before and reflects the increased noise of the EVM at work, which makes sense as it's really just amplifying the sound that is happening in the exhaust system.

Nice! Seems expensive though, I remember not long ago getting a full catback mandrel bent SS exhaust for my Falcon for $800 lol
The AMG tax.
Bit of controllable extra noise without being obnoxious sounds perfect though.

as far as I am aware the renntech module is just a rebadged ASR RX2 module that you can buy for roughly half the price.

it would be cool if you could have a video of the sound in action as only found online a OPF model doing it.
