I've got 19" Michelins on my A35, and even with adaptive suspension set to comfort, the road noise on a dual carriageway or motorway is loud. I think possibly it's a trait of the W177...?

@btc201 the standard Hankook's are not ROF's, also the GY F1's are not ROF's. However, I think these tires are loudest on initial drives and after being worn in the noise subsides a little, but still pretty loud. Or, as @Robconnors1977 said, you just get used to it.

Funny you should say that about initial drives and wearing in. I swear the road noise is quietening down in my car, or maybe I’m just getting used to it. The A35 is not a quiet car, but then I didn’t expect it to be...
