aliexpress do a cheapo version at around the £370-ish price.... i was quote around £1800 to retrofit the oem Mercedes option.

When you said to retrofit the oem option you mean officialy by mercedes?

Yeah he meant by a Merc dealer. Unless he's talking about just using OEM parts, but I doubt that. Since the parts are nowhere near 1.8k

I asked this question to Greece to the dealer and denied that this is never happening, to put oem hardware afterwards, i insisted but got the same answer
