I have an a250 4matic w177 and I have read many posts about the BRABUS b25s power extra kit. They usually say that it is Worth upgrading but some drivers wrote that the gearbox seems to be laggy. Do you think there is something you can do about that if you tune the car ? And also do you believe this 40hp upgrade will make the driving experience better ?

The Brabus power increase for my A45 was 40ps and I would say it added a bit more to the driving experience. I didn't find the gearshift an issue. I had previously also tuned my E350 cdi through Brabus and found both faultless but very expensive next to other tunes which are available.

@Forrester Did you manage to get insured with Aviva or did you have to look elsewhere? We had a little conversation on another thread specifically regarding insurance a while back.

Yes in relation to the A45s module. They will insure if I get it as below their power increase threshold of 30 bph. Around £100 pa more.
