Regarding : Transfer phone contacts from iPhone 11Pro to Mercedes W177 MBUX system. ( A220 4Matic 2019)
To all lucky and unhappy owners !!!!

With the previous Blackberry Bold 9900 phone there were no problems.
The contacts' phone book was sent via Bluetooth immediately after the phone was paired with the MBUX system
Unfortunately, I have a problem with iPhone 11.!!!!!!
The new phone is paired and working, I answer calls and can call.
However, my contacts do not want to be imported from the iPhone 11.
Although I have about 300 in my phone, the MBUX system shows 0.
The whole procedure is done correctly and the contacts are not loaded.
Does anyone have any helpful comment.
I spent several hours on this and I can't deal with it.
************************The instruction suggests two ways to send contacts.
Via USB device (probably USB Flash) which should be connected with USB port number 1.
or via Bluetooth connection
Additional question :
in what form are the contacts in UAB Flash to be.

Have you enables Bluetooth on your iPhone to sync contacts?
On your phone go to Settings, Bluetooth. Under My Devices find the one for your car, it will be MB Bluetooth followed by a number, tap the I icon on the right. You will see the options available ( Sync Contacts, Show Notifications and several groups, make sure all are set to on or selected.

Dear raetsel
Thank you for your help
I missed one click before
Now everything is ok.
The contacts have been downloaded and I can use the phone.
I noticed you are driving A 250 4 Matic
I bought A 220 4matic in July.
Unfortunately, UK Mercedes ceased to offer the A250 4Matic in 2019.
In addition, the offer 2020 has stopped offering the A 220 version, including 4Matic
4Matic has been offered since December only as A35 and A45
The rest can forget about 4Matic which I perceive as a very useful thing especially in winter and where it is slippery.
How humiliating Mercedes policy is for us, 4 matic incl. A250 versions are offered everywhere in Europe.
regards
Chris

Glad you are all sorted now.
Yes I knew that they had stopped offering the A250 in 4matic shortly after I ordered mine so was lucky to get one.. I was told by my salesman they did it after the A35 came out because the price difference between the A250 4matic was too close to the A35 although this seems a poor excuse.
I don't understand why Mercedes change the specification for each market, I wanted to order the 360 camera but that was not available here.
I think they are shooting themselves in the foot but maybe it makes it easer on the production line as ours is right hand drive so smaller volumes, although Australia is also right hand drive and I believe they can get the 360 camera and 4matic.
Enjoy you 4matic, just waiting for some snow to try it out although I find it a benefit in day to day driving especially in the wet when I get no wheel spin on a brisk take off.
Regards
Peter
