My car was delivered to me on September of 2013 and dealer said that they asked AMG in Germany and said that my car was fine but just yesterday my turbo died.
I was just driving on highway then I step on the gas but no power. At first I thought that I was in too high of gear but I was in 4th so it should no been a problem but I put it down to 3rd gear but still no power at all. Then I see white smoke coming out of muffler so then I noticed that it could be turbo. Its just nothing. No error code on the dash or nothing so you will not find out what happened before you see the smoke.
Now its at dealer so I really hope that it will come back to me strong so I can enjoy the ride. I really hope soon.
AMG in Germany felt that my car does not have problem with turbo but that means that there is cars out there that dealer might say that your car is fine but have big chance on blowing up turbo. I think that AMG really have to look into this problem. My car was running strong 10 min before turbo died. Its still little bit over 10,000km and turbo blowing up AMG really have to look into it. Maybe they think that they solved the problem but maybe not.
