Hi guys, I originally thought to get the DPE Mt5 with the perfect offset for my baby... now that i think of it.. I couldn't part myself off with the AMG wheels i already have AND spend another 6k on another brand.

So here are the alternatives.
XIX X33

OR....

Rohana RC5.

Both have very similar specifications, both available in the size that i want and cost roughly around the same. I'm leaning more towards the Rohana... and changing the hubcaps with mercedes black hub and silver star in the middle. Like this picture.

Okay, so it's rohana out of the first 2 choice. I stumbled across on something that's a direct competition from the rohana. How bout these vertini concave? I prefer these over the rohana for 2 reasons.

1. Spokes are less *chunky*
2. The lip is gloss black and the face of the spokes are matte, giving a very nice luxurious contrast of the blacks.

hahaha, I think i'm going to settle with the 19"x 8.5, i wanna create a bigger concave at the back... thinking maybe if possible i could stretch it down to 19x9 or even 9.5 (modifications required of course) to get that concave looking even more aggressive! Here's a picture on a car.

Nice nice, keep the wheel nice and simple man. Good way to go!I will go to a wheel specialist soon and ask what their opinion is,
I'll keep you updated on the info that i find.

You mean you still havent got your car yet? or did you leave your
car in the garage and still havent got the car back from the wheel guy?

confused.

Allright... So the 19" aren't available on the vertini monaco's... so i had to resort to other means to try get my wheels.... Anyway after a long discussion with the tyrepro guys, and after putting a wheelnext to my car i decided that the 20x8.5 were not too big for the A class, but the downside is that it's not the wheels i put next to my car is not the vertinis ( because the have to be ordered in, takes 3-4 weeks).

SO... i have ordered and put in deposit for the 20x8.5 vertinis (all around, no staggered size available either
). Ultimately i just couldn't give up on the vertini, so we will see in 3-4 weeks time how it properly looks on the A class.

Oh plus, they said if i wasn't satisfied with the wheels they would be able to take it back and compensate me with credit for another wheel... So i guess there's some safety net there. But we'll see!

I'm worried and excited. FYI, i too thought that the 20" would be too big on a hatch, but from what i can see it also depends on the "color, style, car". I am quite confident it'll look lush on the A class. Cross my fingers i guess..

I'll be ordering some Black Mercedes center caps to go along with it, and i'm trying to get ahold of red *nuts* for the 5 locks. If it comes out even 20% of what i imagine it would be it would look mint!

More to come..

Yep, that video you sent me is exactly how it's going to look like. Black center caps with silver lining of the mercedes logo. Also with red Nutlocks it'll look the shiz! haha.

Yes, Perth roads are very safe and smooth (mostly anyway). There are some area which are just complete rubbish, but either way i never intended to buy a mercedes to trash it. Even with the 18"s on I'm driving very carefully. Let us have respect for the car, haha.

Thats the thing.. I can NOT go any lower with my a class, otherwise i wouldn't be able to go in my garage.. It's very steep and even with current stance I'm cringing every time i go up... So lowering is not an option... Maybe 10mm, but nah. We'll see i guess, I'm getting a new house soon so hopefully i choose one without the massive steep eh? haha.
and besides, i need this to be my daily drive, i wouldn't wanna compromise too much of the ride (which i already have by going 20") by changing the springs. I also occasionally shop for my business with quite a heavy load... so you see lowering is just out of the equation for the time being.
