Wireless phone charging not working

Hi , I have gone through the discussions about wireless phone charging not working . When placed on the pad starts for 30 seconds and then goes off saying obstruction or object in way .
Other discussions is where is it, does it come with it ext
Has anyone one got an actual fix . I have a Aclass 250e premium Plus .
I just plug my phone in. The phone invariably moves off the charging mat otherwise. In terms of your phone not charging beyond a short period. Is it in a case. My wife’s phone case is too thick to allow mat charging for example.

Other than making sure you have the latest IOS, there was an update last night to fix bugs from the bigger update a few days ago. I would then book it in.

And your wife's car definitely reads out the Don't forget warning when phone is left on wireless charger?
Yes it does. Just going back to the phone case point near the start of this thread. While I have a case its quite thin. Do you have a wallet type case which might affect the phone being detected properly.

This is what her car shows. There isn’t any option to refine it.

Just a thought, does the NFC setting have to be enabled as well to activate the warning on the wireless charging pad? Could you check on your settings please Forrester.
My wife's car and she's out in it at present. Will check settings when I can get the car. It's a real pain that I can't check on MMe.

The armrest connections now provide Carplay
Excellent so we can wirelessly charge and have another three phones connect to CarPlay. I have noticed there is a port in the back of the front armrest for rear seat passengers. I'll have to see is that too does CarPlay.

Just checked and it works when charging via cable inside armrest, but not from the wireless charger 🤷‍♂️. That's where I tend to forget it's there and walk off without it
Does the Bluetooth work from the armrest or do the armrest connections now also provide Apple CarPlay.

Shot in dark but ask Mercedes to turn up the volume.

Really! I didn't know about that. Where is that setting. I'm forever forgetting and walking off without my phone
It’s just done it since we got the car. I don’t know where it’s configured from 🤷‍♂️

Works in mine okay and the iphone sits in a rubber case.

But I don`t use it as I can`t see it much and tend to forget it and leave it in the car. :)
There is a very polite lady’s voice to stop you leaving it in the car in the FL version.

In addition to the case point, the phone slips from the pad when driving. I sometimes use the bag of mints I carry in the car to wedge it in place.
