This is what mine looks like; sync, menu, a/c rest. I think the 'sync' is unique to the premium plus because of the dual-zone heating, and because of that, it needs menu to include the other button options that it doesn't have room for.
Post #18 - 3rd panel down, has SYNC, but no menu button.... :p 😂

Just some of the variants...

... the CC module in post #16 isn't even one of these!

Mine is 4 th panel here.

Is the final button before the temp up down a button to activate the pre entry climate? Symbol looks that way. i.e. activate from within the car. Not sure of its use really if so if you're in the motor anyway 😊

Also to sync the zones again, I have to go into the menu. Not a big deal! But is there any other way to resync the zones when they are different? I.e. press and hold or anything like that.

I did use the REST today though nipping into supermarket. Worked wonders! Wouldn't have known of this feature without this thread so thankyou.

This is mine with menu, sync, a/c rest. Clicking menu looks lik it's just duplicating the buttons, but clicking on 'auto' (in the menu) brings up 3 more options for direction of heat.

I have C-class 220d from 2019. It is with diesel engine as you all know, but it doesn’t have rest button. I know from my friends that this function can be under A/C or MENU button. The bad news is that I don’t have it and don’t know why!

If you look at post #18 in this thread - there are many many variants of the climate control panel, which one is fitted depends on your car spec, market etc.

So here is a question.
I have been offered a really good upgrade to a CLA from my A class saloon.
As it stands they are the same trim level, but because of the facelift of the A classes/CLA’s what they come with has slightly changed. The CLA will come with everything from my A class does, and more, except for 1 thing, dual climate control.
This has actually put me off previous offers of trading my car in, but now the CLA offer is really good, and I’m not sure that I can turn it down.

So I was wondering, if I got it, is it possible to retrofit the dual climate control? Is it simply a case of buying the new switch’s, and getting someone to code it in, or is there more to it than that?

I’m pretty sure the HVAC unit itself needs to be capable/compatible of dual zone control, the flaps, motors etc. in addition to the control panel.
****. I would have thought they would have just made every car the same, minus coding and the user switches.
I’m going to double check with Mercedes and Mercedes specialists.

What was the outcome?
Nothing conclusive yet. Newcastle says don’t know, but they wouldn’t do it regardless.
Doncaster didn’t have a conclusive answer.
Mercedes Edinburgh, who sell lots of parts for retrofitting asked for my VIN number, and because the car is not registered, it’s not coming up for them to see. They were intrigued by the quary.

I have messaged RJ over the weekend to see if it’s possible in theory, but I doubt I’ll get a response until at least tomorrow.

If it’s possible, then it will make me very happy.

Also though, when I was on the RJ website, I noticed their adaptive cruise control buttons they supply for cars without it, is the same as the buttons I’ll get on my car. So I was wondering if it means it might just require some sort of computer hookup to enable it.

My 2019 AMG Line Prem+ came without dual zone (instead I got the phone integration pack). TBH I didn't really miss the dual zone but the greatest "problem" is the single zone doesn't have air vents at the rear of the centre console for rear passengers. I've now gone to the other extreme and have 4-zone in my C-class though!

Yeah, I think that pretty much rules a retrofit out then.
I think I’ll just deal with it for a couple of years, then see what comes up in a couple of years time.
I’m actually really liking the new Smart #3, but have nowhere to plug one in at my current house.
