Me too! I never use CarPlay as it’s so laggy

I've experienced a similar issue with Apple CarPlay and the touchpad or steering wheel controls, so you're definitely not alone!

 

Same here. I find the touchpad is unusable and use the steering wheel controls, which are better, but still lag.

 

I am using Android Auto.

Issues will only be solved when reported to Mercedes .

Anyone reported this to MME support?

 

I am also experiencing this. Reported to Mercedes, they called me and invited me to the dealership, who then said "it's working fine, we plugged in our phone and it worked the same". The worst thing is, when I first got the car it actually worked a lot faster - it was usable. It was only later, after a software update, that it started lagging. MB are absolutely useless about it. I reported that my ambient lighting keeps randomly switching off and supplied photos from multiple times it happened and they said they won't do anything unless it dies completely.

 

I had this a while ago and fixed it by forgetting the car in the CarPlay settings, restart phone and setup CarPlay again (using iPhone 12 Pro so not latest hardware using iOS 17.1)
Now no discernible lag.
