The MB app was updated today with Google Maps which it is claimed will give a smarter navigation experience, enhanced location search and interactive maps.

Got the update a few days ago. I'm not sure what the difference is though, I can't see or experience anything different.
Is there also an update for the car itself/maps? I don't pay for Live anymore so I can't see if there have been any updates.
