Is it possible to customize the profile in the car with a photo? on mercedes I have my picture but on the car is the gray icon

 

If you go to manage users in the portal you can add a picture

 

Yes, it is possible.
You can do everything through the Mercedes Me portal.
If a photo is already placed, erase this photo, record the profile without a photo, and replace the photo.

Solved. I had to synchronize profiles from car and then change photo in the portal activating driver profile

 

Hi, I can’t find manage users in the portal where about is it? I have created my profile in the car. I have added a profile picture under my data in the Mercedes me portal but this picture does not show up in the cars profile.

 

I find “driver profile” etc in the web portal only after checking “Automatic Syncronize” on MBUX

 

Did you have to pay extra for personal profile synchronisation? I’m from the UK, I don’t have automatic synchronisation in my profile general settings in MBUX.

Edit: looks like it’s a payed extra here in the UK! When looking at Mercedes me shop called ‘vehicle setup’ £29 for a year

 

I have two payment packages (remote setup, tracking etc, each one 99€ for three years ). Maybe it is related to this

Still can't get this to work. I've got the vehicle setup pack which includes personlisation. I've uploaded a pic in my profile on mercedes me, and I've got it to sync profile automatically...i've even gone in the car and click the "synchronise now" button but it still shows up as blank

Does anyone know how to get it back. I stupidly deleted it thinking it would resync, but now the only profile I get says "Guest". Before it had my name with a mbux sign next to it.


In the online portal, it's still got my details saying that I'm the main profile

 

Try Settings->System->reset.... You’ll have to restore all previous settings

 

Unfortunately that didn't work

 

I haven’t tried ADDING another Profile, since I’m the only driver, but csn’t you just go through the process of creating a second (well, ostensibly second, if you know what I mean) Profile, just as you would if you wanted to add one for another driver? But then obviously label the new Profile with your own name.

 

I got the same problem few days ago. After I re-created the profile in the online portal, it got synced and now everything is back again. You should also check if automatic profile sync is enabled, otherwise you will have to synchronize manually.

It is to do the same, and choose the format you want.

 

You should download the Mercedes Benz Guides app, you can then download the A class guide and search away. This screen shot it from it.
I should say I don't have the car yet to try it out so let me know if it works.

 

All sorted now, but there’s so few profile options I’m wondering why I bothered

Just got my new 180 AClass and I have registered for MM (just basic haven’t paid) so limited functionality. However I’ve seen a few videos and posts on here saying they have added their profile and picture to car from MM?

Can anyone explain how I can add my picture to a profile? I haven’t added a profile in the MBUX yet but my car is shown on my MM app

 

In order to have your profile picture appear in the car you need one of the paid add-ons I’m afraid, i think it’s the ‘vehicle setup’ one.

 

You need to go to the Mercedes me portal and look at users in there :smile:

I have paid the £29 for vehicle setup and have setup my profile ? Only way I could do it was on web browser! My app has got a picture of my car and all the readings like, mileage, tyre pressure but can’t get to the “Mercedes Me Connect” page where all my services are located!

When I login via browser, it has a link if you scroll down for Mercedes Me Connect and other links but on app, there’s no links available other than “Contact Support” “Trips” & Vehicle Service Dashboard”
