Right, it says I am the first of seven and I have got auto sync on, still not showing, any ideas anyone?
Can't remember if I had to do anything else, maybe there's something more you have to do within your Personal Profile Settings in the car? I'll see if I an find anything else I did, next time I'm in mine :)

Oh and maybe try removing your Profile photo and then re-adding it? Do that via the MercedesMe app rather than on a PC or Mac. Open Me app, click the little person icon top right, click "Edit Profile" and then click the Pencil icon next to "Profile Image".

Ahh, hang fire, you say it's telling you that you are the FIRST of 7?.. Then you haven't actually added yourself yet. I know it sounds irrational and a bit bizarre, but I've just checked mine in the Portal, and although I am the only User, it says I have used 2 slots. This is because even though you have a MercedesMe Profile, you still need to click the ADD button and add yourself again (I don't know why this is, but it works). So basically use up a second "slot", add yourself, upload a Profile photo, and after that you should see that photo in your car when you next get in it and it updates to the vehicle.

Should look like this...

Wierd, I suppose you might have to make a second profile in the car first?
No, I don't think that's the case, I don't remember doing anything IN the car before creating my "second" profile on the portal (I know, its not really the second, its kind of the first, but that's the odd thing about the User Settings on the Portal, I can't explain it either)... although maybe after that the car asked me to do that? Not sure, sorry.

Go to the Portal HERE:

Log in if you aren't already, then click Manage Driver Profile, and see if it allows you to create a "second" Profile, on there.

When I first clicked on Manage Driver Profile, it looked like I already have one, but I did as advised elsewhere - can't recall where - and Added a new Profile for myself anyway. It let me do that, and I configured it and added my photo etc. I can't create a "third" - I get the same message you are seeing, "It is not possible to create...", but it did allow me to create what in effect looks like a second profile for myself.

I am finding that if I jump in the car, put my seatbelt on and hit the start button my seat does not always go to the stored position.

If I wait for the Profile screen to come up it works ok but not if I start the car before this has come on the seat might stay where it is, move a bit & then back again or sometimes to the stored position but it seems random.

Is this a fault or feature?

I'm having some problems with my Profile, my seat setting is not always actioned when I get in the car. I can see my Profile and edit it but how do I save my seat settings etc or is this supposed to be automatic?

There is no save, it is automatic that any adjustments made while in your profile should be autosaved.
I find I can beat the boot up time of the car, if I was the last driver I can jump in and go of course.
But I think the car is not supposed to move the seat when you are moving, so if you start the car, change profile, and move before the dash has finished booting, it may not complete.
The other bug I found was swapping seats with my wife, I pulled up at the side of the road, switched off, swapped seats but it would not change to her profile, possible because we had not shut the doors to power down the system.

Today things seem to have reverted to normal. I see that the Profile screen is on as soon as I have my seatbelt on where as yesterday I had to wait for this and it still gave me the wrond seat position, today it seems to be correct, odd

Are the seat memories saved within your profile or are they independent?

So 2 x different positions for each profile?

I’ve not got mine yet but I can’t actually get behind the wheel after my lass has been driving to shut the door and select the profile, so can I press the seat button on the door before I get in even the a profile hasn’t been selected? would be so much easier saving a profile to a key like BMW.

Both as far as I can see! I think they are independent of one another.

However, under Settings-Vehicle-Auto seat adjustment you can choose Easy Entry Exit & the seat will move back when you switch the engine off.

But I agree it would be nice to have the Profile settings saved to the Key, I had this on my Mondeo & it worked a treat unless I grabbed the wrong keys ?
