I have mentioned this indirectly before so apologies for bringing it up again.

I should mention first that I have Easy Access set so when getting into the car the seat is always in one particular position with the seat back upright.

I have a problem with the seat position set in my Profile. I am finding that if I jump in the car, put my seatbelt on quickly and press the Start button before the Profile screen had come on it is likely that the seat will move slightly and then return to its original position. After this it is not possible to get the seat to the position saved in the Profile (other than adjusting it manually or using the memory seat) even if I switch the car off, get out and start again.

The only way to sole the problem is to press the memory button but the next time I get in the seat remains in the Easy Entry position. The only way out of it seems to be to switch to another Profile and then back again.

I'm also finding that the time it takes for the Profile screen to come on is very variable, sometimes it is on almost as soon as I am sat down and at others I have to wait with my seat belt buckled, all very confusing.

As I'm on pre FU2 I just wonder it this is something that FU2 was trying to resolve?

IDK what FU2 means. Nonetheless, I have the same problem when Easy access just stops working and the seat gets stuck in the position. For me this issues surfaces when I stop the car, put it to P and exit the car with engine running. Then I enter the car drive with it a bit, put it to P, ignition off, open the door and the car does NOT move backwards as it should. IDK how to resolve this. You are saying to toggle the Profile, I'll try that.
Regardless, this seems as a legit issue/bug in the software.

If you dont select a profile, it will use the Guest profile. The MBUX start-up is slow, so the profiles dont come up quick enough.

If you do select your profile, does the radio station default to the last station listened to? or you have to select the station each time the car starts?

It is using the correct profile, it's just random

That might be the case but this is different, its probable that it is to do with software like many of the issues we find

Need to ask, how do you get your profile to sync to the car via phone.
The answer from the manual doesn't make sense or work as there is no sync option as it states on Mercedes me portal.

It basically asks you to choose a profile and then push sync, other than the heater settings I can't see where sync is.

I have sorted it, the instructions are vague, you have to create a profile and then unlink it to link it which is an arse about face way to do it.

Having just bought the Set-Up service and applied my profile, preferences and photo as the main user, I can't see a way of doing similar for the co-user, in this case my wife. Am I missing something or isn't it possible?

The co-user is registered and the name appears in the car, but there is no settings icon in the portal to enable the profile preferences as there is for the main driver.

Yes. She has to have a separate mercedes me id.

If you haven't done already you have to 'invite' co user in the portal and she has to accept invitation using her separate mercedes me logon. Look up the 'manage co user's link under the 'my vehicle's page in the portal.

One your wife has her own mercedes me id and accepted your invitation then she will also have access to all the mercedes me services you subscribe as main user.

I guess you may have already created 2nd driver profile for your wife in the car. This can be now linked to your wife's mercedes me I'd. You are all set now to manage settings separately for you and your wife.

I now have her photo in the car after syncing but on the portal I can’t see a way of enabling any preferences like I could for myself.

again, did you login using your wife's mercedes me id in the portal? you should be able to change her settings under 'personalisation'

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone else has seen this before. Changing the MBUX profile on startup to another profile starts the passenger seat cooling fan on 2 Setting. I have manually turned it off, but when changing to another profile starts the fans again.

Not sure if this is fixed in the later builds FU2 or FU3, but my A250 is one of the early builds and am not sure if the the MBUX has been updated. Speaking to the SA, they are reluctant to update it a they have had issues in the past.
