All,

Let me make it clear why I am grilling this guy.

The air intake restriction in our cars is NOT the standard air box, air filter element (so long as it is clean, of course) or ducting to turbo.

It is the cross-sectional area of the hole in the radiator support panel.

So, if one is looking for a power increase, aftermarket air cleaner manufacturers building product for our cars have three choices.
1) Breath at least some engine compartment air. This is what Eventuri does.
Works fine on the dyno, provides the claimed power increase, so long as the hood/ bonnet is open and the Cell temperature is 20C or below.
Otherwise, useless.

2) Build something which takes all its air through the OEM hole in the radiator support panel, which at least works as well as the OEM on the 90% of the planet with normal ambient temperatures; however, cannot provide any power increase, despite claims to the contrary.

3) Exercise some lateral thinking and actually build a product which addresses the restriction problem, not just look pretty.
Regrettably, I am still waiting for some AM air intake company to do this for our cars, so, yet again, at least at this stage, I shall have to build my own.

Hi Ed
The carbon intake tube and the new filter just connects to the OEM airbox and retains the OEM fresh air feed into the airbox. Hope this makes sense.
OK makes perfects sense.

Armaspeed has taken the safest approach, worldwide, which is probably smart. (My choice 2, above)
However, given that safe approach, all your product can offer is looks, not performance.
Which is fine, so long as your prospective customers understand this.
