Sounds rough! Steering rack bolts spinning is a classic pain—sometimes they’re seized or rounded off, making them a nightmare to loosen. For the subframe, make sure all bolts and brackets are fully undone—sometimes there’s hidden ones under brackets or around the sway bar links. If the bolts spin, try using some penetrating oil, and maybe tighten them first to break any corrosion before loosening. Also, locking pliers or a bolt extractor might help hold or remove stubborn bolts. Take your time, and don’t force it too much to avoid damage. If the subframe won’t budge, pulling the engine might be easier, but definitely a last resort. Hang in there—you’ll get it!
