As you can see I have fitted the Stainless Steel Brushed Foot Rest that I ordered from Bustanuts.com in Australia at $52 Australian Dollars / £25 including postage/packing and foreign currency exchange fee.

The foot rest was delivered today and it took 16 days from order to delivery by Air Mail from Australia.

My car was built in Finland as you can see on the door pillar sticker, at the Valmet Automotive facility as part of the 100,000 units that are being built over the three year contract from 2013-2016.

This Mercedes Benz contract with Valmet Automotive to manufacture the A class in Finland ends in 2016 when all A Class production will be in Rastatt in Germany. The new GLC will then be built in Finland.

Finally, my car is well built and there are no rattles!!

I also am going to order Dan's Stone Guards (AMG Power) for the front wheel arches at some point soon.

More photos to follow...

Cheers,
 [/DIV

Stone Guards have now been ordered from Dan (AMG Power) and will finish off my A Class.

**** looks good Glen only difference being apart from the footrest I had mine de badged (no A200 on the back)
Keep me posted on the stone guards will be interested to see what they look like.
This 118d sport I'm driving at the moment is very noisey and tell me do you get a lot of wind noise around the mirrors this one is horrendous .

Hi Alex. No rattles, no real wind noise but the fastest I've done is under 60mph and the only thing I have noticed is the aerodynamic shape allows road film to flow up the wheel arches more front than back. The stone guards are £36 a pair plus £3 postage and I ordered Satin Black, there is also a Carbon Fibre finish as well. Daniel McKenzie the owner of Carbon Wurks who make the stone guards told me I was ordering the last set this Thursday but I'm sure another run of the production will start soon if there's demand.
My A200's ride is on the soft side of firm but it's better than my Alfa Romeo Guilietta of 2010-2013. That was rock hard around town.
Is your A200 colour Cirrus White?

Hi Glen got mine late today (pics to follow shortly) and yes mate spitting image of yours and De Badged.
Don't know why they didn't put the alu footrest in like the one you brought. Tight German hits.
I'll give it about 1000 miles before I change all the settings to sport and have abit of fun.
Let's hope this on lasts longer than my last new one lol

Yes Alex the stainless steel foot rest is not OEM it's a mail order item from bustanut.com.au which is in Australia it cost 52 Australian dollars (£25) delivered. It fits with Velcro to the carpet and is quite secure. Look forward to your photos.Edited by: AMGglenn

When you said it was Cirrus white on my thread i couldnt help but have a look - it's lovely Glenn, nearly went for white myself. Unfortunately the 'night pack' wasn't an option for me, certainly looks the business against the white though.

Really like the footrest too, i couldnt help but notice yesterday how dirty my carpet one was looking haha.

Glad to see you like the photos, yes I think the Night pack does go well with the white colour and also the car on the TV advert is a Cirrus White also.

Mercedes A Classes made at Valmet Automotive in Finland are better quality I believe than those built at Rastatt in Germany at least mine has no rattles!!
