Press and keep hold of the lock button on the keyfob, all windows & sunroom will close.

And if you press and keep hold of the unlock button they all open

Although I think it's an extra as mine doesn't do that!?

 

Its easy to test it. Open sunroof and flick some water on the sensor and it closes. Not all the way though it stops at the up a couple of inches position. I also read that if left open it will auto close after 8 hours. Also if driving in rain and you have it in the up position it closes after a couple of mins automatically.

 

We are talking about "auto" as in, if the option is set to one of the speeds then it will turn on by itself and not when it's set to off it will not automatically start right? This is in regards to the rain wipers. I have to try the auto close roof trick.

I always have wipers on auto so know no different.

 

I've tried the key fob hold and mine doesn't auto close the windows first thing I tried as it did this in my RS which was great.. you don't get nothing for free with Mercedes.

However, mine failed to auto close even though i had my wiper setting at position 3.

Mine does with keyfob. Opens and closes. I have FL A45.

 

To use Convenience OPEN or Convenience CLOSE, where you press and hold a button on the key fob, you need either Keyless-GO or Keyless-GO Start or Exclusive Package, or AMG Exclusive Package:

MB obviously consider this option unnecessary.

 

As far as I know holding the fob works for everyone but it works over infra red and you need to point your fob at that little black square on the drivers door handle.

I think the OP means to tilt the roof whilst leaving the sliding blind closed shut. Mine also opens the blind before tilting the roof.
