Hi guys
I have a Mercedes A-Class 2022 250E W177 THE
I have bit of a curious problem with the Engine coolant warning light.
When I go for my paper in the morning, I start the car up, the Engine coolant warning light comes on
So I drive to the shop about 5 minutes away, get my paper, back to the car, start up again the warning light goes out
I've checked the coolant level in the reservoir no problems.
Never have this problem before.
Am I going to do any damage for driving with these conditions?
(Does this light indicate low temperature as well?)
Any ideas anyone
Thanks for your help

Hello again
Further to my previous post
I took my Mercedes 250E 2022 plate to a local MB specialist
He ran a diagnostic check on it with regard to the engine coolant warning light.
He diagnosed the following

• Switchover valve for the High voltage battery system is faulty
• Can anyone tell me should this be covered under warranty
• Is this is a common problem with this car.
• Has anyone any experience of this fault
Thank you
