I have lights in the door sills in the MB logo and in the mirrors pointing down.

No I also have the lights in the mirrors but I want the Mercedes Logo on the floor when I open the doors.

I purchased the ones in the Blue and White box from eBay for the W176 to see if they fitted the W177. They did but they were not that tight and a bit fuzzy with the image for me. I then decided to go for the MB ones as they are much brighter, clearer and have no protruding lenses or anything.

Thinking of maybe adding the Carbon style mirrors and b pillar items but not sure if its a bit tacky as they are not actual carbon.

 

Looks really cool. How much did you pay for the MB shadow light? Cheers.

The eBay ones where about AUD$ 30 and the Mercedes official ones from the dealer AUD$300 lol

Hey, I purchased my one from amazon and it was very easy to install. Would definitely recommend it, roughly £10 but looks like a £100+ feature.

If anyone in Australia wants a set of these (non official ones) I have some that I would send over. I had MB fit official ones so have no need for them.

 

I have an A200 AMG Premium Plus and don’t have these fitted, the Premium model I looked at in the showroom when ordering did have them fitted, are they an optional extra or are they no longer being fitted?

 

Tbh I haven't seen them fitted in any showroom car.
But you can buy them from Mercedes direct for 130Euro, and replace them yourself.

 

Just for reference in case anyone needs it these pics are the original standard MB ones so you can see how they clip in.

Anyone know where to get door projector lights for 2019 apart from Mercedes £170 quid sh w176 on eBay for tenner upwards regards all a newby

 

Knock-off's or kinda the same one's can be found on Ali-express for like 30quid.
Or try kunzmans for OEM ones for less then 120quid. Imo its a premium brand so you're paying a premium price, but to each their own.

Advert says they dont fit a w177 when you select the vehicle??

How easy are the oem ones to remove in order to fit these? How are they held in.

 

They're very easy just a tiny little screwdriver to lever the light out, gently pry the left side so not to damage the wires etc on the right side and then unclip reclip the new ones and pop back in, these fit my W177 perfectly and with no problems

 

Ordered. Just tried taking out the oem one and it was very simple and easy. Looking forward to getting them now ??

How do you get them on the mirrors? Does the A200 AMG Line premium have lights in the mirrors? I pick mine up next week I currently have a W176 A180 Sport but it doesn’t have any lights in the side mirrors.

 

If you want lights in the mirrors, then you're gonna have to buy new mirror caps + other things. Not difficult but not worth the hassle, comes included with the folding mirrors if i'm correct.

Looking to get these led light projectors but mercedes charge £74+vat for installation. Can i install them myself? Anyone fitted them before?

 

Yes they're very easy to fit on. A quick search on youtube will show you a few clips on older a class models but still they method of installing them on the w177.

Mercedes do not have the AMG emblem led projector for the W177 a class, only the mercedes star. Will the one for the W176 fit the W177 model?
Really want the AMG one

 

Will fit, the light of the W176 is the same as the W177. Only different design, but will fit the same hole.
