Just after fixing the exahust flap I documented on another thread, I noticed an error in the ECU going as P1CEF85 "Injector inkection quantity adjustement for cylinder balancing has almost reached the upper limit value at at least one cylinder. There is a signal above the permissible value". The relevent tests in Xentry direct you to check the injectors. I could only do the atuomated electrical test which came out fine. So I deleted the error.
Couple of days later whilst at the traffic lights I actually got really bad misfires (could feel the engine vibrating) and the engine light came on. This time the errors were P030085 and P030285, clearly misfiring at cylinder 2.
As I am now out of warranty since February, I decided to replace the coil, as the spark plugs were replaced by MB in February. Unfortunately it turns out is not the coil
I guess next step is to do a compression test? Any thoughts? I am freaful this will turn out the same problem as the A35 AMGs, as this is the same engine.
