I got another 'infotainment update' today installed OTA. However couldn't find any significant change /update to the menus. Anyone noticed any change after this update?

I’ve had my A180d for a few months now, second hand. It’s a 2018 model and according to the me app it’s not had a single update since January 2019!

Mine has just finished a 4.8GB OTA MBUX upgrade from apilevel/ntg6_fup2/063 to apilevel/ntg6/080. I was able to download and install with the car tuned off but MBUX left on.

Mine did the same yesterday. Took 2-3 hours to download the file and then another hour to ‘install’ with the final restart taking around 10 minutes

Just received a second new OTA update. Was previously on FUP2 and now I notice after the update that I’m on ntg6/080 (FUP3)

Been following various chats on update from fup2 to fup3. My car was on fup2 and I was going to get it upgraded to fup3 on my first service.
One week ago, I received a letter from Mercedes, telling my car needed a software update due to a software problem regarding the SOS software and they would do this via a over the air update.
Two days ago the update started and took about 2 hours to download and about 20 minutes to install, that afternoon I was out and noticed that the speed camera alert tone sounded, which was weird, because it never worked before, when I got home and checked my software version, low and behold I have FUP3.
So after all the talk from Mercedes, they can do this upgrade over the air, saves me asking at the service now.
Just thought I would let you guys know.

The car informed an update was ready to install. I just left it do it’s thing and it had competed some time later. When I next got to the car it was all done

A few key changes
1. CarPlay now connects instantly. No lag and no problems on connection. Hurrah. Works like a dream
2. When I use Apple maps, the car no longer stops Apple maps which it used to do all the time. Drove me nuts.
3. when I use Apple maps, turn by turn guidance now appears on the centre element of the dashboard! Hurrah! I thought at first both maps and Mercedes weee giving directions but no…its Apple maps and Mercedes working together and works very well too. No issues at all.
4. The only settings I had to reset were the equaliser and sound settings. Everything else was as before

anyone else spot anything else?

It’s just the turn by turn directions mind, not the Full Apple maps experience. Still looks like Mercedes direction signs but is linked to Apple maps.

Yup. I had a look this morning and indeed im on 080 version.

How do you check the version you have? I got an update earlier this week. There is no way for me to see the version. I’ve looked in the settings menu but there is no option to view the version number?
