I cant totally confirm this but, I've had coding on my car, and was told when you update to a new version it wipes your coded options off.
Also if you've had wifi by phone enable auto updates get turned off

Does the 080 update effects daytime running lights when unlocking the car? Mine doesnt come on when i unlock the car.

Even the vehicle search via Mercedes Me doesnt flash the light 3 times like before.They only just come on once for few seconds.

I’ve had mine since April 🤷‍♂️
but it wasn’t widespread being sent OTA until now.

Many people are still 063 or previous, and 080 is/was still being sent as an upgrade from 063.

I had just been sent an up date at the time ,
But somehow it went wrong .
May have been the something to do called multimedia . One thing that went wrong was , Ha Mercedes wouldn't reply
with voice or actions
Spoke to MB of Worcester , booked a time
They said it was a big file and best to be done at a dealership . So 2 hours later , all's well
And they checked out everything, to do with the MBUX

Hi,

Received a message on head unit 2 days ago, file was like 130MB, took a couple of minutes to download and some 5-10 minutes to install. Version went to 081 from 080. Couldn’t spot any significant changes until now.

I think that’s what mine is doing at the moment. I’m on 080 but mine is nearly 1Gig
Any ideas?

All my updates are done. Completed during my journey to Brooklands, around 2.5 hours due to hold ups on the M25.

Correction. Just checked MMe and it says not complete but had a message last night saying it was. Maybe I need to start the car later and MMe will sync with the car and we'll then know.

I think mine updating maybe the reason I can’t send locations to the car. I’ve only used it once in the last week for a 5 mins drive.

The sat nav part was working really well on mine yesterday. At one stage it took me off the M25 congestion around the roundabout off the slip road and then back on again.
