I don't know how elseto describe it in the topic heading.I have now done just under 8,000 miles and my front tyres are still in good tread condition but part worn.
Every time I take the car out of the garage and on to the block paved drive the steering is usually on full lock I get a sound from the front as I creep backwards like going over small bumps in the road. The noise happens on lock in both directions. I reckon what it isare the tyres slipping on the usually damp blocks given the time of year and part worn tread so reduced grip. My concern is that it could be the foreteller of something more fundamental but I do not think it is. The wheels seem tightly attached with no uneven wear.
Is anyone else experiencing this or have any comment.
