Thank you.

I just let my updates happen as and when and by the dealership as appropriate. I haven’t had any problems to date, fingers crossed.

Hi, I own a 2019 A200 and it originally came with FUP1 and has never been updated.

My dealer states that they can update it but that it would cost me €350 to do so (I’m also out of warranty).

What are the key differences between FUP1 and the latest update? And is it actually worth the money?

It's up to you. You don't miss what you don't know.

For example, later updates give you Amazon Music & Tidal.

I got mine updated from FU1 to FU3 (ntg/081)
Had some challenges with Carplay and it restarted, currently it has fixed my challenges.

If you don't have any challenges then no, save your money.
As I see it, there are very few changes, you will be able to access the ME shop, but you can do that on your mobile or PC/Mac... Then there is something about being able to create a hotspot via your mobile in the car but again, who uses it? After all, everyone has internet on their mobiles, etc.

The menus themselves seem a bit sharper and a bit faster, but very little and you don't really notice it.

I haven't noticed any other changes/improvements.

MB update around twice a year in the UK. April was my last one. I guess it's your region's turn now. Which would also seem to be twice a year.

Has anyone actually ever received an over the air (OTA) software update?
I’ve never seen one available in my app or the car’s MBUX, nor have I been advised by MBUX that one has been downloaded/performed … I’m in Australia

We get OTA updates in UK & Europe. Can’t say for Aus.

@booster @MGL @Sixman @Turbo Ed @Droid What is the Aus experience of OTA updates?

Nothing on MM, I was in the car about an hour ago and saw it had started downloading but didn't note any version info, just (from memory) 0.8MB of 4.5MB. Not convenient to check again at the moment.

Previous infotainment updates were two on 8th May this year and two Comms updates on 5th May this year and 25th June 2021.
