Since their a million different aftermarket ones I can’t say that some might not also flicker - I just heard from many people that buy the fake AliExpress ones that they experience no problems.

If you go to MB they will most likely require you to buy the original ones before they will do the coding. The coding price is impossible to answer. Call them.

Just received mine, and confirm they do not work, just flicker on every 3 seconds. Also fitted them to my C Class, and they worked perfect, no coding required for that one.

Yes - they 100% need to be coded by a Mercedes workshop. I can send you the coding guide. But MB will have it. It’s a 10 min job

been to the dealer and show them the code. they dont even look at it because is not OEM product. basically they force me to buy genuine ones. someone advise some door lights with logo that dont require coding?

Yes. Well that was obvious. I thought people understand that the coding was only for the OEM ones and that no dealer ever would touch anything else. Plus the OEMs are of another quality.

Could you post the coding guide, code and what is needed?
I have a 2020 A250e and have aftermarket projector lights which flicker. MB specialist want £70 + VAT to recode !!

Send me your email. But to code you need specialist programs from MB. I’ve sent it to about 40 people so far and they just bring it to their official dealer and pay for it. Here the lights plus coding is also something like £150

Would recommend that you buy the originals. Much better quality and sharper image. No use having cheap china stuff on your luxury car. Plus I wouldn’t risk having cheap lights without heatsinks and no idea if they are put together correctly or will cause a shortage and fire down the road.

Hi,

Anyone got LED logo projectors fitted by Mercedes? It seems online I am able to have the adapters fitted but for the projectors themselves, I don't meet the technical specifications? Know a few people have fitted them themselves but I'm just curious as to why Mercedes can't.
