Hi, everyone, I purchased the A200 on the launched weekend during August 2018. The salesman said there would be CarPlay as standard. But I have just found out that the A200 does not have CarPlay at all. There were many articles written during that time that say that CarPlay was a standard feature. I am now arguing the Mercedes that they have misrepresented this feature. Is there anyone else out there who purchased or have information on this? Thank you.

Hi All

I purchased the smartphone integration package for £299 yesterday to get apple carplay for my 2019 mercedes a200 amg executive. Its now been 24 hours and although the package says active on mercedes me app, on the mbux system in licenses, it still says wired apple carplay license is deactivated and has been since its diagnostics in 2019. Ive contacted mercedes me technical who are looking into it but was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, and if you fixed it?
Hi, did you ever get this sorted? I'm having excatly the same problem!!

I have an A35 and the license for the CarPlay is deactivated despite about bought the smartphone integration on the Mercedes me app. Everything is connected correctly on my end but it still doesn’t work.

This YouTube vid perfectly shows what I’m seeing;

If I bought the smartphone integration should it be activated automatically? Also, I went to an approved dealer who said the is an update but it didn’t show smartphone integration as one of the update lists, which is £180.
Mercedes me have told me it’s a TCU and head unit communication issue.

Any advice on how I should proceed would be appreciated.

It does take time for the licensing to work its way through all the servers to your car, anything from a few hours, to a few days.

When did you purchase?

I note there is now an ACP Ultra but. MB and many other brands won't use it. This is what What Car wrote about it:
